Ramkund is a sacred bathing ghat located on the banks of the Godavari River in the Panchavati area of Nashik, Maharashtra. It is highly revered in Hindu mythology as the spot where Lord Rama bathed during his 14-year exile. The tank is also famously used for immersing the ashes of the deceased.
Because Ramkund is the nucleus of the Panchavati area, it sits in close proximity to several other major religious sites, including the Kalaram Temple, Sita Gufa (Sita's Cave), and the Kapileshwar Temple
